Wooden Bora Bead, carved from Iron Wood (Olneya tesota), by Andrea Rhodenborgh. Shaped by the harsh desert landscapes of the Sonoran region, Ironwood is a remarkable hardwood known for its extraordinary density and richly figured grain. Growing slowly over decades in one of the world's most demanding environments, it embodies patience, endurance, and a quiet strength.
Measuring 12.3x13.2mm.
The Bora Bead is a carved accent made from solid gemstones, exclusive wood types or precious metals. Shaped into a soft four-petaled bloom, each one is cut by hand and finished with a generous drill opening, making it easy to wear in many different ways: slipped onto a gold chain, stacked among charms, added to a locket, dangling on earring hoops or used as a small, colorful spacer. It brings a touch of light, texture, and play to a stack, while still feeling refined and natural. Sold individually, each bead is unique, and meant to be collected.
